Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of EZH2,FHIT and VEGF in primary bladder urothe-lial carcinoma(BUC). Methods Tissue samples of primary BUC(n=76) and normal bladder(n=10) were assayed by immunohisto-chemistry. Results EZH2 and VEGF expression rates were much higher in BUC tissue than in normal bladder tissue(P<0.05),while the FHIT expression rate was significantly lower in BUC(P<0.05).Expression of EZH2,FHIT and VEGF was related to histological classification, pathological grade and clinical TNM stage of BUC(P<0.05). Conclusions Expression of EZH2,FHIT and VEGF was closely related to the histological classification, pathological grade and clinical TNM stage in BUC tissue. EZH2,FHIT and VEGF may play important roles in the pathogenesis of BUC.
